Title: What do you do if it rains?

For those of us who have garage sales or outdoor flea market booths, rain is always a consideration. What do you do to protect your merchandise in the event of a downpour?

If I'm selling at a garage sale, that means it's one step from going in the trash/donation bin. So rain doesn't bother me.. If it starts raining, I start packing and call it an early day.

Don't even chance it if it looks like better then 40% chance of rain...

When doing garage sales at my house, I always kept the valuable items that could be damaged by rain next to the garage. That way, if it started sprinkling, I'd be able to move the stuff inside the garage before anything was damaged. Did the same thing with my parking lot sales. Kept the nicer stuff closer to the tent or the box trucks. One time it really backfired on me when the rain was coming down sideways. For the most part though, it was an okay solution.
