$625 for a 5' X 10' Locker

$625 for a 5' X 10' Locker
« on: April 26, 2011, 12:46:35 PM »
I was at an auction yesterday and a locker (5' X 10') sold for $625.

Visible contents was a king size (bed) headboard and approximately 25 totes (30 gallons, with lids).

Pardon my NEWBIE ignorance, but isn't that a little high for a locker with minimal visible items?

I know it's a gamble, but it seems like a lot of work.

Yep, might have been high. That's roughly $30 a tote so depending on what's inside them, a bit of a gamble, but I've seen it done and I've done it myself since I prefer smalls to furniture.

I went to an auction today that had a similar situation. See the Lookey Loos #4 thread for details.

Here's the thread link; see post #38 for today's report; 4/26/2011
