WOW the Great MM(in his own mind) read one of my post.....FOA!

Well, anyone who calls someone else out on his spelling should certainly do a bit of "proof reading" on his own posts...or is it a case of "do as I say, not as I do?".

Also, we could put it to a vote here as to who has more "believeabilty"... you or I...or is it "you or me"?  ;)

Turned in any "miscreant" auctioneers lately .... or for that matter, people who go faster than the speed limit or talk on their cell phones while driving ?  ;D

What the hell are you talking about?.....Oh wait, you are a Californian, that explains it.....and its "believability"

Run on back to "Auction Scene #?" thread....that seems to be what most of your 2000+ post count came from.

Whoa....can it also be said of you then that you lump all Democrats as to one way of thinking, all Republicans to one way of thinking, all Texans to be alike, all Floridians to be alike (ad infinitum) all part-time auctioneers to be as honest as you are ?

I believe lumping an individual into a group like that "you are a Californian" is called a "glittering generality". I wonder what your views on race and religion are? Please, don't even go there.

Forgot to mention your lack of proofreading in the post noted above in red. As I'm sure you know it's "it's believability".

My spelling error exacerbated (look it up) by your lack of an apostrophe making "its" into the contraction "it is".  ;) :D

After I read the first- I skipped most everything else  :P But there is a recent auction/ auctioneer up around danbury who is bringing his excess trash / dead inventory/ slow movers to a couple of storage places. He is advertising on auctiozip as a" storage auction". Bidders beware- this seems to be a really ugly trend.
Ps- i'm both a baad spella nd bad smella, and typin' on my ipoop doesn't help.
Yes, I called it an ipoop  ??? ::)

Roger-Danbury, Connecticut ( maybe New Milford & Brookfield too)

I'm sure there are at least a FEW penguin haters out there, but I pretty much agree with that statement.

Now a poopy iPad I would shy away from.

Elvis, not sure which Danbury you are referring to, but for myself, the RULE is NO GREEN CARD, unit is passed on
and before MM blows a gasket and accuses me of being a racists....by green card I mean the Postal Green Card where the letter of notification was signed for.....ALL UNITS FOR LIEN AUCTION MUST HAVE THE "GREEN CARD"

If the management want me to run anything else...I announce it that way...that way the bidders know exactly what they are bidding on.

I'm checking out Auctionzip after I post this thanks for the tip.
I personally like penguins but that's another story.  I got aproval to change it to 8am viewing and a 10am Auction start time. Does that sound more reasonable?
Also the Auctioneer Suggested we do a %9 buyers premium that covers tax and credit card transactions as well.
I just got off the phone with him after looking at his site http://www.theauctionanswer.com/index-1.html
there's a video of him in the bottom left. I wish I could extract it to put on my website or youtube to then link to it in my ads. I'll have to look into that later.
He is funny so I think I'm gonna have a good time. I also found out you can put an AD on ebay they have classifieds now ( never noticed that) but other then Auction Zip I'm still at a loss for places to advertise it If only 5 people show I'm gonna have to become a Bidder and resale some stuff myself because I'll be out of work  lol

No gasket blowing here, but I believe that there are many auctioneers who don't even know what that registered letter green card looks like.

Great to have high standards, but not everyone does. In this business (storage auctions) there are a lot of irregularities committed and on a fairly regular basis I believe. I would not lump all auctioneers together certainly, but there are some who are less than honest in their dealings one way or the other and there are certainly storage managers who fall into that area too. It's buyer beware for those of us on the buying end...in many cases. That's why we stay away from some facilities.

The auctionzip was easy to register and post Thanks.

I have a weird feeling this may be the beginning of the End. Either I become a semi pro Auction putter together-er after this or I just start Going and bidding on storage's.
There's 3 tomorrow that say there put on buy the same guys from Storage wars. I'm gonna try and convince the Boss that I need to go Kinda like factory training.
