Does Anyone Sell Textbooks?

Does anyone take the time to sell textbooks? If so, what's the best way to do it?

textbooks are easy to sell and pretty good money,  only caveat is they have to be recent textbooks. once a book is a year or two old there's a new version. thats the racket about the textbook industyr they basically add a few pictures or a diff preface and all the sudden its a new edition where pages aren't the same on everything. i used to buy old versions of textbooks when i was in college. its basically the same textbook but because they add a few pics and a new preface teh pages dont match up so when the teacher tells you to read pages 63-80 my book may be 69-91or something like tht

I use bookscouter.com. They have a app for smart phones. I just sent in a little over $400 in books the other day. If the books are not worth much I put them in the store for .25 cents.

I don't remeber which site it was, but the last time I sold books to a site like that, they had me print a shipping label, I shipped them off and never saw a dime from them or the books again. Hard for me to trust sites like that. Also you can prob get more selling them on eBay. Use that site to figure what they will give you, add 30%-50% and post on eBay. eBay is where I bought all my text books in college. good luck

I once came across about 50 brand new inkjet cartridges and tried selling them to a site that claimed to buy them.  Packed them up real nice, paid for shipping, never saw a dime.  Unless you know the business you're dealing with, better off with ebay IMHO.
