Does the interior of your home ever overflow with auction purchased items?

OK, I'll admit it....I have some of my auction purchases inside my house and not because I'm using them...they're just there!

Usually these come inside so I can research them on eBay or elsewhere, they they just sit there for "awhlle".

Not exactly a "hoarder" situation, but sometimes a problem that needs stepping over or moved.

YOU?

If you can't say yes to this topic, your not a real storage unit buyer in my opinion!  ;)

I think the real topic question should be: "Have your neighbors ever threatened to call the Home Owners Association, Building Code Enforcement, Zoning Board, or Police on you because of all the junk scattered around your house and yard?" LOL!  :-\

I admit I have been known to spread stuff all over my dining room to "research" for ebay and then let it sit for months because I bought a new unit and forgot about the old stuff. I tell people I'm not a horder if the stuff they see in my house is different each time they come over though. I am getting better about getting it out of the house lately and can almost let people come visit without feeling too humiliated. I do have a few areas "decorated" with items I find interesting or attractive while they are on ebay. Once sold they are replaced with new "decorations".

If you can still see your neighbors over the pile in the front yard, you're doing good. Just tell them you're starting a community recycling center.  :D

Me?   I have everything on a set of shelves.   Tho, it's starting to be piled.   Not as organized as it once was.

My roommate on the other hand.  He filled the downstairs living room "to sort and organize" about six months ago......hasn't been touched since.  He is a hoarder I thinking.  He loves to buy.....doesn't sell.

I have to admit I have two wrecked cars waiting to be parted and a row of appliances on the side of the house.   But can't see them from street.  In fact, he way he house is built on a hill you can't see them from any place.   Why its all still there.  Out of sight, out of mind......

Some stuff like towels and dishes we use for RV camping. And some tools I keep cause Im going to need to buy them anyways, so why not keep tools at a deep discount.

Even though I have a store front I still have stuff at home. Right now it is jewelry that I said I was going to research at night. It has been on the dinning room table for several weeks. Ugh!
This business belongs to both my mom and I. At the very beginning we vowed to never take something home unless it was better than what we already had. If you take something home, something needs to be brought back to the store to sell. For the most part we have followed that rule. Neither one of wants to be the next Hoarders show. LOL

My dining room table and part of the laundry room never gets totally cleared off.  I bring stuff in to check ebay value (sounds like a common theme) and sometimes I don't get to it in a "timely....cough, cough" manner.

I do try harder than I used to, but for some reason eat most of my dinners in the living room.....lol.  I just picked up a bunch of high school and college annuals last night at a small auction, and 17 of them piles quite nicely in my favorite dining chair! :D
