I hope you have better luck getting people to answer this question than I did on Feb 8, 2011 as shown in the link below.

It looks like there were 26 replies. That's quite an accomplishment considering the forum only had like 10 contributing members in February of 2011. ::) LOL
I guess I need to go back to the drawing board and come up with some unique questions.

There is no pat answer because the distance is dependent on the number of units being auctioned off. I would for example drive 100 miles for a 50 unit auction but not for a 2 unit auction.

I agree, the number of units is definitely a factor. There is actually an auction in the DFW area a few weeks from now with 224 units. I'm sure some of our Houston, San Antonio & Austin members will make the 4+ hour drive that day.

Yeah that DFW one looks awesome. I live in San Antonio and driving from the North side to the South side is about 40 miles... so I said 40 miles.
