Magazines?

I found a box of Better Homes and Gardens "WOOD" magazine in my pile.
Ever have any luck with selling this type?

Never had luck with magazines. I recently bought a locker with a lot of Rolling Stones (mostly 90's) and Car & Driver (again mostly 90's). Also had another locker with Vietnam and WWII magazines (late 80's early 90's) and never sold a single one. I still have the war magazines because I'm hopeful that the subject matter will eventually find the right buyer. The others, I used as craigslist free ads to get people into the store.

I have some Newspapers, and Life and Look magazines from the 60s kicking around. They're worth a few bucks, but nothing to retire off of.

Magazines are tricky. I have found a few that have been good. 1980's and before car magazines sell well for me. Depending on the content and the age they go between $1.00 & $10.00. I do have several car guys that come in specifically for those because they know I keep them.
I also know that Magic Crochet and Decorative Crochet sell pretty high. Usually between $5.00 & $10.00 each if they are in good condition. I only know this because I have bought some of them online. This is a discontinued publication and is highly sought after if you crochet.

I just did a quick eBay search. Looks like the "WOOD" mags might be worth a try.

I think any magazine that deals with a certain interest would sell on eBay. After all there must be a lot of new doll collectors or new biking fans who want to read up on their hobby from old issues.

But i've seen people listing 20 issues one issue at a time and that seems strange to me...sell them in bulk !

Most of the time they are worth nothing. Its the old way of thinking if its old its worth money

Magazines  you have may not sell but overall magazines can be good. Just look on ebay lots of people charging like $7 and more per magazine. Probably more for magazines with a cult following, people who want every issue or collect them. Anything current events is probably garbage as the news is old but magazines like rolling stone where maybe someone wants the one with their fav artist on the cover, gun magazines, things wheere the content doesn't get old may sell. If nothing else bring a box to the flea market and sell as a lot or like a quarter per magazine.
