Post by: Southern Yankee on November 08, 2011, 11:32:39 PM
I saw an episode of Auction Hunters that went toa container facility in North texas where they auctioned off 800 containers. Can anyone provide any info in how to locate facilities that hold these auctions??????

I just found my first POD auction. Was searching other county newspapers and found the legal notice posted. Don't think I will attend 2hour drive. But I did find one.

POD and other such auctions are posted in the legal notices like everything else.  The big shipping container or such auctions I think would be also.  However, they will mostly be in either the local paper the containers are in or a national / state type paper or both.  I'm trying to keep an eye out for Charleston and Savannah myself for a container auction just to go if they have one.

The one with AH in North Texas I believe was a moving company. It was talked about before here on these forums.
