Have a new years resolution? Or maybe you've learned a valuable lesson this year that you've vowed to never repeat. Spill the beans!

Don't procrastinate, lose weight, exercise more, eat better....the usual to do list for the first week in January. Oh did you mean in relation to storage auctions?

I've been slowly getting ready to get back into shape over the last 10 months. Too frugal to pay $300 a year for a gym membership and didn't have space for a home gym, so I bought a new 10X16 dutch barn. (To me that makes sense.  ::) ) Put in carpet, a window AC unit and ran electric. It didn't take long for what was supposed to be a home gym to be turned into overflow storage for the units I bought. I finally cleaned it out this week. Nothing left but gym equipment. No excuses now.

Over the past 10 months, I've been slowly gathering gym equipment out of storage units and I have a pretty nice little set up if I do say so myself.

Got a $2,000 elliptical cross trainer, a $700 Proform treadmill with a built in TV screen, a BowFlex, a pull up bar/dip station, punching bag, an ab machine, various dumbbells and other miscellaneous equipment. Got it all free from storage units.

I'll begin the torture next week.  :'(

I typically don't participate in New Year's Resolutions because nobody ever keeps them. I've never smoked. I do need to lose weight, but that's more of a daily thing than a resolution. I don't have any unhealthy vices like gambling or sex. If I were to resolve to do anything it would be business related, and what's the fun in that?

Maybe I'll resolve to START gambling, having sex with strange women, and smoking!

Doesn't look like such a bad business venture to me.  ;)
