I just sold a couple heavy items on eBay and I specifically told the buyer that they would have to pick the items up or make arrangements with their own freight company. She chose to use UPS freight. Turned out to be a relatively convenient experience. UPS called when they were ready to meet at the storage facility. Only drawback was that they showed up in an 18 wheeler and had to use a dolly to move the items from the back of the storage facility to the truck.
Anyone else used a freight company, and if so, any funny stories or advice?
