For those of you who have multiple vehicles and considering gas prices these days, do you drive your more efficient vehicle to the auctions?
-
Always take the truck so we can bring home at least part of a unit then return later with a trailer if needed.
-
I drive a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. This way I've got decent gas mileage, and cover from stormy days for the stuff I can bring home with me.
-
I drive my Mustang to auctions for both the better MPG and because it's easier to park. Some of the storage sites around here don't have a lot of parking space to spare, so it's easier to slip a mid-size car in instead of a van and trailer.
-
I drive my Honda Odyssey because it gets decent gas mileage and I can put valuables inside. I have a trailer I can pull if needed. I don't tend to go to far for my auctions, its the advantage of living in a big city with dozens of auctions a week.
-
I grab the station box truck to save on gas and I call haul everything home. Why pay for gas when its free?
-
It really depends on how far I am driving and if I know the sizes of the units. Close is just the car or sometimes the truck. If I am going a distance I will take the truck and trailer. If the auction is far and I know the units are small I usually just take the truck.

I usually take a 05 ford truck. We also have a 2011 camero convertable, someday I will drive that just to act like the peple in the shows...
-
Usually my smaller car because most of the auctions I go to are within 5 miles of my house, if I win a unit, then I grab my truck and trailer. 8)
