Just registered.  Thank you all for very valuable information on this board.  I am really glad I did my research (most of the info came from this website) before I quit my job to become a fulltime auction buyer.  This website has educated me enough to know that I was ill prepared and that I had unrealistic expectations.

So...thank you again for saving my job!

Just like American Idol don't quit your day job. LOL 

Can do it part time and have some fun, and hopefully make some money.

I don't think anyone should jump head first in and quit there job, but hey maybe you can do it.  I know any questions you have this forum will be glad to help and I am rooting for you.

I'm from Cumming, GA.  Absolutely read everything you can get your hands on.  Even though they are reality shows, I've learned sooo much from watching Auction Hunters, Storage Wars and Storage Hunters.  You can learn how to bid, how to profile a unit, etc.,, from watching and reading.  DON'T QUIT YOUR JOB, lol.  I work full time as well but i'm hoping this will work out so that one day I can retire and just do this full time.  It's a blast.

Good luck and keep us posted on the auctions you attend and units you buy.
