I am just looking into becoming an auctioneer in my area and wonder if anyone has any insight or advice into being an auctioneer for storage auctions? Do they use lic. professional auctioneer or just have whoever conduct them? Any other thoughts would also be appreciated.

You need to be licensed.

Also need to be bonded.Qualifications vary from state to state.Might want to check with your state.Welcome to the forums.
