Title: Selling
Post by: money4nothing on October 05, 2011, 08:13:55 AM
Going to start with my own unit... Storage on my property. We have a construction trailer (currently filled with our house, building a new one on our property) Did not want to pay storage. Go figure. Anyway am excited to get started on this venture.
Truck and trailer  Check
Place to sort  Check
Place to get rid of garbage Check
Going to a local auction tomorrow for place to sell extras will check out other local auction house for high end things.
Plan on doing Flea market.. Yard sale's will be limited due to location.
Cl and other local free classifieds online.
Ok on to my question I have a set of Hammered Copper cook ware. (my mothers) Can't remember if I tried to sell on CL or not. I assume that Fee Bay would bring best money but worried about the shipping part, this stuff is heavy. Also if I sell out right should I price it at what I could get for it as scrap or what I think it is worth? I know it is only worth what someone will pay for it. I have sat on it for 3 years now and starting at home to get my nest money to start this new venture  Any help greatly appreciated.

Note to self label pictures..  :). As soon as I find them I will post .. Did find a nice shop today Only charge $2.00 a sq' and no commission... Most places want to much money IMO plus commission.. And consignment starts at 50%. so am stoked at this new place.. And on a Wednesday afternoon had at least 6 customers in while I was there. Plus they have a farmers market on Fridays sure that brings them in.
