Title: Garage sales cloaked as estate sales

Victor Rjesnjansky from Storage Wars Texas has an old house he uses for estate sales. He buys storage units, then stages the house with the merchandise. I would imagine he gets better prices for his merchandise this way.

Has anyone ever come across a garage sale cloaked as an estate sale or used this method themselves?

I've known a few auctioneers that use this approach, but, at a location or space.  On the other hand, they can go both ways, stage an estate sale or have an estate sale auction.  It's a good place to use consignment with the auctioneer to sell your own items too.   :D
