PayPal Credit Card Chargebacks - Buyer Always Wins
« on: April 13, 2015, 10:19:38 AM »
I'm deeply concerned with a PayPal policy that seems unjust, if not illegal.

When a buyer uses his credit card to pay for a product through PayPal processing, then files a dispute, the credit card company seizes your funds and PayPal charges you a $20 chargeback fee. The most troubling part of this is not the loss of money or the ridiculous fees, but the fact that PayPal will not tell you who the credit card company is.

This just seems unfair. I mean, how do you know if the credit card company is really responsible and that PayPal isn't just stealing from people. Now, I know the likelihood of PayPal scamming people like this is slim, but there has to be checks and balances. They should be forced to provide us with this information upon request.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?
