I'm pretty honest and believe in the whole karma thing but I don't know about returning the unknown contents of an item I bought.

I do wonder how they didn't know it was there.   At some point the dresser had to be moved.  Wouldn't you hear it sliding around?

I wouldn't have returned it either. He bought it, he owns it.

I use to save the personal stuff and return it to the facility, but now I just chuck it.  If you try to find the prior owners you could be getting in a lot of trouble.
