Problem is the police officers, if their are too many people they will shut you down..  As soon as the traffic you create, creates a road hazard, they will make you close it down.

Just put signs out when we are ready for people to come..

No need to do more, get tons of people.

One time we advertised it and we just got flooded, it was too much to handle, people parking everywhere, blocking the street, it was nuts.

They took away the free 50 Buy it now listings per month and replace it with 100 auction listings in restricted categories.  Basically forcing people to pay listing fees or buy a store.

I just did a garage sale this weekend and made $107.50 ($15 of that was in change)..

I was selling with the mindset, all leftovers go to goodwill.

But the total haul was $490 combined (Me, Mom, Dad, Sis)

Most places have email opt outs and email preferences, once you set those preferences theirs nothing to get annoyed with.

I content filter most emails, all my groupon emails go into a certain folder, then when I'm looking for a discount oil change or something I'll bring it up.

All food offers into another folder..

Sometimes I use Plus Addressing and filter by that..

On MLBBoards.com when I owned it was the most widely used function (Because it was a real community).  On Phphelp.com I just added it a few days ago.  I seen a few people use it so far. (Not many people know about it)

I don't know if this qualifies as my buy... But my wife bought a unit for $70 just a table and 2 chairs. She wasn't able to see it well, turns out it wasn't in good shape.  She sold it for $50 as a restoration product on Craigslist..

So $20 was the biggest loss.

I had a few units I call losses, because the time spent for the tiny amount of profit out of them wasn't worth it.

If you install this mod all I have to do to alert you is type @travis in the message, instead of titling the subject line.

It's pretty cool, very easy to install.. I did it on my forum.
