I can legally possess the weed and the money and guns would be like any other locker. You find a $100 bill in a book and you don't turn it in. The amount doesn't matter.

My thing is the former owner is gonna want his money back and don't want some drug dealer showing up at my door!
I think I'd find an attorney and turn it in thru them. Best possible way to claim and have returned to you.....

Up's-n-downs.

Last week got the nice locker. Good picks. Good sales.
Past week: all auctions canceled. No good picks or finds. And worse of all no sales. Nada.
Not even a call.

Though I did find that the main salvation army store here rotate's stock out fast. The try to sell, then mark down and in 2-6weeks sell it out to other store's or bulk.

Some nice antiques and furniture going for way low prices. Tho when they first hit the floor they way over price furniture! $150 for a sofa that's worn and new was maybe $500. Same things sell at goodwill for $20!

Going to have to frequent there more often....

If you sell something and left something in it that's your bad.
Buyer is a dick if they kerp it buy didn't commit a crime. What's the police gonna do?
And if they aren't the type to see the right thing to do is return items, obvious mistake, they aren't gonna admit to police they were in there.

Insurance scam?
Post a public notice. Police report. Insurance claim.

Bam! $300 for 25 wheels and some assorted tools to trucking guy.
Wouldn't have gone $10/ea for anyone else this soon but I've known him for years and know if I ever need something hauled he'll do it without hesitation.

Yep.
Took me several car deals to learn my lesson.
They are all eager and willing to split the cost of car. Then suddenly don't have money fir parts or supplies or time (or skill) to fix.
So I do 95% of the work, put up 75% of the money and they always, ALWAYS want 50% of not profit but the difference between the buy and sell price!
They never understand when I take out my expenses first!
And these are people I consider pretty smart and honest in all other aspects of life!

No partners. End of story.

I don't even know how big those lockers are. Only have seen them in center of the city facilities. I'd say four feet across, 4-5 deep and only four feet from top to bottom. They stack them and you need a step ladder to get in the top unit. Rent for like $30.
Think the demographic is for city people that don't have storage for ski's and bikes and the like.

I'm all about ease. And don't like to store items.
I'll CL first and try to work deals to move as many as I can. I'd rather not make as much and move them rather than selling here and there for 6months. Keep posting. Keep meeting.
And CL saves me from shipping. I don't know why but I hate shipping stuff.
I can't even pay bills by mail. Everything is online. :)

I know I can make more on eBay and like you say I might have to just for the exposure but I'll do CL and see what the interest level is first.

And a acquaintance ows a trucking company and shop so I'm sure he'll take some. They do a ton of metal work on the rigs.....

Forgot to say in above....
I thought it was strange when I bid $20 and the auctioneer said "sold!" with out a chance for anyone to counter....?
Anyone seen that before?

Hit an auction before work. One of those units that are only like 4' high was up.
Contained a tote marked "hazmat clean up supplies" and a dirty dirty dirty tool bag. That's it.
Guy started at $100 and never went lower. A good five minutes of trying to convince us to bid.

Finally I said "I'll give ya $20 for it if we can just move on!"
Figured if it was a hazmat kit it would have a respirator and those are $30 so I'd be even.

So pull out bag and it's full of tools. Nothing expensive but tools I'd never buy but have borrowed so figure my $20 was well spent. Got some tools.

Then went to pull out tote and its a million pounds!
This ain't no hazmat kit! Open to find 52 brand new, in box, grinding wheels, polishers, wire wheels....
Priced  them and retail the cheapest goes for $50. Put on CL for $25. Figuring these aren't hot items. No real home use. Get someone here and offer 2-for-$40, 3-for-$50....

Even at $15/ea I'll clear $750!

Agh. Read it wrong. Thought u meant MY karma. Nit help'n a friend and all.

Yeah, dude is a nice guy but needs some life lessons.

He keeps wanting me to show him how to make some side money and I keep telling him that he isn't bringing anything to the table. Not gonna show someone how to be my competition.....
To many people start in this but don't want to work, learn, make contacts, take risks....I could go on and on!

So you want me to find auction, do the bid, risk my money, store the items and introduce you to people and places to move the items....and split profits but eat all losses myself?
And for this I get....???  Help cleaning out locker? Yeah. I can get that for $50 at the home depot parking lot. Have a nice day.

Not a big deal. I have a clean record so should get deferment.
Using attorney for the possibility of beating it but more so I don't have to actually go to court.
Got it in Eastern Washington delivering a car to buyer. Driving back over would suck.

Found out what the barrels are.
Advertising props from the liqour store.
Damn things dont even hold water! lol

Sure someone will buy them but not for what they would if they were real....or old,  :'(

@tclane
I normally don't grab food. But since I actually saw it on the shelf just prior....

And no. I got the coupons by going to the coffee shop and grabbing the insert everyone tossed to the side.
And online.
I am stocked up on canned tomato products and cambells soup.....I may have gone a little overboard in those departments.  ::)

Today's picks were slim.
Goodwill had an Ethan Allan chair for $10. Put on hold and going up later with friend to see if he can repair the leather. Other than the "cat damage" on front corners it brand new looking. Sells for $700. Thinking if he can match leather and sew patch on all four courners so it looks like it'd suppose to be ghat way...

Also got a really nice foot stool for $3. No top so gotta make that.

Went on my battery drive and came up with nada. But found 3, maybe gallon size?, wood barrels with copper bands. Still researching what they are. Burned into bottom like a branding is "Chicago" and below "1938".  Will try to get some pics up and see if any of you know.

That was it. Tho I did coupon today and got $120 of groceries for $27.82.

Guess if Im not making money at least I can do is not spend it....   :-\
