The first one for me by far.  I've had a few good, but many bad and two "VERY UGLY".  Got to get better at picking the units....but I'm slowly learning.

I was thinking of the people not the lockers LOL

CL You have been doing pretty good from what I can see except for the keep factor...  ;D

Could always install UBUNTU on them that is what I use on my Toshiba.

Ubuntu Linux based free ware. Comes with Open Office.. Spread sheets, Presentations, and Word processor for free.  Just a thought. No Microsoft here...  :)

I was hearing that around at our auctions. Opening bids at $500... I said did they sell the unit? no.. If I come across one like that not sure I would stick around.

Great find !!!!! From the sound of the other contents I would have the computer place wipe those babies clean... No telling what is on them..

Sounds like you found the porn room. Blankets and blow up mattresses...

Yeah they do pick up. You might get lucky with a timely pick up. Ours are not real dependable their truck breaks down ect. And I think they have like one or two days only a month for pick up. Little hard to arrange that around your time restraints of your unit. They work on their schedule not yours.

Now if the manager is an animal lover and you use the Human society as your donation... They might work with you. Or even Hospice... These two are big around here. Let us know if it works out.

Could be. But one sticks out more than others. ;D

Storage Facilities / Re: Are all the storage companys starting

If I want to pay my storage unit with a cc I can. This is no different.
The difference is if you are a renter of a storage unit you have a contract for payment. If you buy a storage unit from an auction. you are just a buyer. Load up everything then call your CC and say not to pay. Charges back they don't get your money, and you got the stuff. Not a great idea for the people doing this as business but for a nob getting burned on a bad purchase on his credit card. For sure the nob would try and charge back. At least some of the ones I have seen.. Paying way to much for junk.  :)

They'll take a CC until they get hit with a chargeback.  Wonder how they would handle that.
Yeah really. Would like to see the out come of that.

Thanks for asking I have the same question except for a yard sale. On thanksgiving weekend there is going to be an Indian Pow Wow happens every year. And where we yard sale is the busiest intersection to this event.

So I am with you  ???

eBay / Re: Frustrated

I know it is a little time consuming I have to try and catch up with our recent locker purchase, and got a box lot of stuff for $5.00. With sell able ebay stuff. So I will be busy.  :).
Miller list the ones you have done. once you see some money for your work makes it easier to find more time ;D. Just 5 or 10 at once then move on to the next. and that gives you some feed back. Why I am sitting on one of my items. Oh I even messed up advertising one of the items but thankfully she liked it and is going to keep it. Anyway good luck.
