I like those. Might have to snag that idea.
Got some chairs that were heading to wood pile so maybe.....oh, who am I kidding. I'll never get around to that.  But good idea.   ;D

If you had not gotten the house gig, would have said it is easier than cell phone fixes.  ;)

I don't know.  Wait till my mother gets off her butt and gets her house to market.  SO much crap there. We've been trying for years for her to start he process. Personally, I think her plan is to live there till she dies so us children are stuck with it! lol

On this subject my mother already did hers. (Thank goodness).  But my Aunt's house is how you described your mothers. And her kids don't want any part of it.  So tag I will be it when the time comes.  ::)

Just got home from helping her today, She needs  professional help. She could not throw away 5 year old potpourri.  ::)

On the house clean sounds like a win win.  I would do a quick inventory and pull whatever you know you can flip. You know the stuff your Aunt will either want to much for on want to keep.

You know if she is close she will get wind of what is going on.  You could always draw up a contract if any one wants a portion of the sales they have to contribute X amount of time in the investment.

Just a thought.... I have a few of those in my family can you tell?

Wish you luck on it. Can't wait to see some pics.

I haven't been totally sitting on my A$$ this past week....  ;)

Chair from locker, top of metal trash can for plants (came out of a parrot cage we cut in half).
About $8.00 in the planting material. Vine in the back cost a little but will be nice growing up or over the chair.

Metal chair out of locker, dish drainer $1.00 at junk place. about $6 in plant stuff.  have three of these.

   @Alias300

Well finally got the tent off thanks so much for the tip. Worked like a dream. The windows appear to have a factory tent on them not dark just a hue.  Most likely in the glass.

Now I can see when attempting to pull out in traffic.  ;D.

Flea Markets / Re: Might have found a home !

Ok I will confess I have not made it to the market.  ::)

First attempt came down with a migraine. Most likely from the previous weeks stress. Got a new computer, WINDOWS based. Long story. Had to get it for Husbands new job. It high jacked my router and was the only thing on the Internet. So current job stuff turned into a nightmare...  :-\
Cannot believe Windows 7 cannot scan to PDF...

Anyway, Then tropical storm.... Love the rain needed it desperately but does cramp the selling end, then the heat.... Rained for a week.

Still think it will be a good place as soon as I get there.

Seriously? Whether or not someone uses a couple of extra pronouns on a message board is what's so terribly wrong in your life as to cause your panties to go into a wad?

This is how it is around here. Maybe a dozen farmers market/flee markets in a 20 mile radius on weekends.
Think they have gotten together so some are Saturday, some Sunday for he flee market. Farmers are thru out the week in various locations. Only two of the markets that include the flee are year around.

Back to point, I like this style better cause it seems most people aren't looking for deals. They are locals just getting out and when they see something price doesn't matter AS much. Plus just the atmosphere they are inclined to buy just for the whole experience.

Thought it was going to fall through could not get a hold of THE GUY, to reserve a spot. Found the Orange blossom Honey Guys # ,  he was sweet and said just show up.  :D

So the van is loaded with whatever.. Want be a big cash day with what I got loaded but anything is better than it sitting here.  ;)

Depends on your location, and where you are selling at. Yard sale cheap, Flea market maybe a little higher price, Ebay who knows.

Ebay search found this. Does not look like what you described, ie. the bottle.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=Jim+Beam+Circus+Wagon+Decanter&_sacat=0

The value of something is only what someone is willing to pay.

Found a Wade England Turtle on ebay also for a few bucks. With no bidders.

My advise is to sell it for what you can get and move on. Don't sweat the small stuff because you will become over whelmed in this business.
Talking from experience here, have totes full of stuff to either try and sell on ebay or just sell at Flea. The trick is to have new inventory moving all the time.
Sounds like your items are in a niche market. Have to find that buyer looking for that item, to get a good price.

Good luck

Oh I am following my own advise this weekend at the Flea, priced to walk away.  ;D

Wait a minute. "All the way out here" is 5 MILES from where she wanted it delivered to?

Turned out to be about 10 miles really, She didn't know were she lived. She was here visiting her Granddaughter and bought the table for her.

We are 2 miles down a winding lime rock road. With swamp on both sides. Looks like you are driving to no where.  :D

Like your got in your truck and left.. Something my husband would do.  ;D

Thought it was just us. Granted we had a retail outlet for most of our CL items last year. We are having to do more CL and sells are really slow.  ::)

Sells are slow in the retail also, but believe due to other reasons not related to buyers.

Could be most of the buyers have become the Noobies at the auctions and they don't need your stuff, they have an $800 sofa with no cushions.

Just my .02.
