They even flag farm animals , but they are relisted .

New to Storage Auctions? / Re: Washer / Dryer and other scrap metal
« on: August 10, 2011, 08:19:05 PM »
I have two yards close to me , one You almost have to pay them if You bring in          " white metal " and tries to screw you on everything else .
The other one , owned by a friend I grew up with ( great when I need a part )  use to sort and weigh everything separately , with a attendant , but now has You just drive over the scale , and dump in one big pile and they pay a flat rate , last week $ 230. a ton , Cars , brake rotors and drums , washer and dryer, aluminum , Rocks  ::),   etc.                                    I use them for quick cash or to clean out a trailer .
We have another place that weighs everything separately , copper , alum. , # 1 , #2 steel , and pays a LOT more but they are 60 min. away and You always  have to wait in line .

Like gold panning, have to pan a bunch of crap before you get that nugget. Then you forget about all the time and hard work it took just to get that nugget.

We tried that two years ago in Az. looking for nuggets , didn't find much , but at least We were NOT Shoveling Snow back in Mass.  ;D

His post is a little confusing   , it looks like He is offering ( 1 ) One Box at an auction starting price of    $ 5.00 with a Buy it Now of  $85.00 ?  plus Shipping of $ 16.00 each ??   ::)

  I think I will go for the three boxes with BiN  ( 3 X $85 ) for $ 255.  plus USPS expedited shipping at     $ 75.00 ea. ( I can't wait a week to make $$$$ )  for a total of  $ 480. 00    ;D

 Ps
According to His Fraud Bay Feedback , most of His auctions go for $.99 ?  or for example a $ 20 dollar bill for $ 21.00   ::)

Since You quoted case law "DAVID DALL, Plaintiff, v. CERTIFIED SALES, INC., Defendant, v. NORTHERN INS. CO., Third-Party Defendant. CASE NO. 3:08CV19(DFM). UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF CONNECTICUT ,
Let Me through in my $ .02 .
I drive bye  Certified Sales " on the way to our storage lockers , and often have breakfast at the Diner across the street  , and have stopped and spoken with Ron several times over boats or campers that are in the yard , there are some good deals if You know what You are doing .
A few years ago a friend of mine looked at a nice offshore boat with " Two Blown 454 Motors " told him He wouldn't pay over $ 4,000. for it .
A  few weeks latter , He got a call that the Insurence company would accept that amount if He submitted a  bid  ?   ::)   One motor had a blown head gasket , and the other a broken rocker arm .
He sold it after a couple of years of FUN  for $ 12,000.

Ever wonder what happens when a person starts to fix a boat at a marina and don't finish/pay there storage fees ?
