Just like what my domestic accomplice, a clutter-hating proponent of financial responsibility  always say with regards to storage,  ''Save the box. We're going to have to live in it someday.''

gets me to thinking sometimes LOL  ;D ;D

Go to the Craigslist page for your area in the free section you'll find people giving away lots of stuff, if you're willing to pick it up.

I checked out my area it saved me a lot just invested on fuel and a gang to haul the free stuff. ;)

Storage Auctions "In The News" / Re: Auction Hunters in Texas, May 2011
« on: February 19, 2012, 11:57:09 PM »
I love this quote at the end " They're still good enough at it to make more money off-camera than Spike TV is paying them to star in Auction Hunters."

This is total BS. They have to be making at least 50 grand a piece per episode. Either way, it doesn't matter how good they are anymore, even the pros in the storage auction business are having a tough time making money.

And I am learning from them too regardless how much money they are making in real life.

What's it Worth?? / Re: China tea set ???????
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:33:12 AM »
Very pretty set. As for what the markings on the back say....do you have a chinese market or restaurant in your area that you frequent? I have taken items to our local chinese buffet for interpretation. They are always glad to help. :)

Yes I do that a lot take them and ask them if they would buy it for how much. Of course they would give you the lowest bid and multiply it by 25 and minus the amount you paid it for if you gained it's worth it. ;D I always do that when it comes to China.

Other Forms of Selling / Re: Ebay vs. Flea Market
« on: February 08, 2012, 12:00:39 AM »
My domestic accomplice, a clutter-hating proponent of financial responsibility, says: ''Save the box. We're going to have to live in it someday.''

But I can't stop, even if I may soon need a warehouse. No pastime gives me greater pleasure than giving a good home to a vintage sweater that was sitting in someone's basement that sells on the flea market.  I say old school is still the best. I get my success with the fulfillment of what I have worked on and loved the most doing that is looking for items that makes my customers happy.
