Well, I got to follow a U-haul caravan and go to a PODS auction last thursday. And yes U-hauls in general are junky low income areas where people use the storage to unload the stuff they broke while moving. I'm not saying all were junk just most. PODS wasn't all that much better except more of the complete household was present in each pod. The serious bidders were bidding as if there were a harley in each pod. I think the brand name caused alot of over bidding. I am not a veteran of this, but $2700.00 for a locker that is almost exactly the same locker as some I've seen go for $250.00 at regular chain facilities seem a bit stupid. It wasn't higher end there wasn't brand name anything showing and it only had $650.00 owed and the person still abandoned it. Maybe he knew something I didn't but i don't intent on going back to a PODS auction if I have another option. Bidders just get a little personal at them....

I don't have that much experience but the auctions I've gone to you do have to sign in here in Florida. But they start the auction earlier then advertised, they usually start it just as soon as the last person to leave the last facility signs in if it is a caravan auction.

Now if anybody can help me move 7 pairs of Air Jordans and 2 pair Lebron James size 8 shoes.....I'd love the help~ Undecided

What style and color are the Jordan's? They are hot around my area right now.

I went an estate sale last week and found an antique four chamber liqueur bottle with the original labeling and corks intact. It's identical to the one Rick bought on pawn stars except mine is complete and original and I bundled it together with some vintage mini beer bottles and a vintage (unopened) 1970 Courvoisier bottle with the cannon base for 20 bucks I don't know if i want to sell it. It is awesome looking on my bar.

Well, reading this topic has been educational. You all have saved me precious time. Instead of checking to see what Barter Kings is I'll have plenty of time to watch more weather channel.

Well I thought real hard about it over this week and Ive come to the conclusion I'd rather make money than spend it this weekend. 30 miles for an auction that might be cancelled. I'm going to have a yard sale instead. I live in a very high traffic area and the least I've ever made on a yard sale when I've had this much stock is around $300 so I'll just save gas and build more buying power for my Main U-haul and PODS auctions coming up thurs. I just don't have enough info to waste my time and money hauling my trailer 30 miles into the boonies possibly for zipppp.

Yea, I kinda figure that. I might frame it and hang it on the wall as a reminder. Even though that part is $112.0 new I'm gonna deeply discount it on e-bay for $40.

oh yea by the way the control arm and ball joint i got is for any 2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Dodge Stratus, Chrysler Sebring or Mitsubishi Galant. Anybody drive those lemme know. LOL. I don't think i'll be able to sell it in my thrift or my yard sells...
