Someone that paid twice as much as her asking price 2 years ago would not sell it that cheap...and if she really were ill she would be raising as much money as she could

Craigslist / Re: Porn sent to e-mail addy after placing a C/L ad
« on: October 23, 2013, 02:01:07 PM »
Alloro: No the ad was removed after getting the first e-mail.

It is like the people that used to use C/L to advertise their "services" have found a way to extract e-mail addresses from the confidential profile that C/L has you register with
The e-mail accounts the mail has been sent from appear to have come from legitimate accounts from people with the word "pump" (since thats what I was selling) in the subject line
I wrote to C/L about it, and sent an e-mail to abuse @(address it was sent from) and after a month I still get mail every day

Thanks Movie man I have never heard of Google voice but I will look into it.
I dont remember a check box that says not to use my e-mail as a response but I know I didnt put my e-mail in the ad. I have a bunch of stuff that I could be selling on C/L so it really cut into my income when this happened.

I have another friend that this same thing happened to and she used a business acct to place the ad.

Craigslist / Porn sent to e-mail addy after placing a C/L ad
« on: October 22, 2013, 02:20:46 PM »
Back in Sept I placed an ad on C/L for a pump I have for sale. The next day I got my first reply to the ad sent to my e-mail addy that I had not posted in the ad. I posted a phone number as a contact.
Instead of being a reply to my ad it was a solicitation for porn
So obviously someone hacked craigslist to get my e-mail addy . After contacting C/L, I got a form letter back telling me to reply to the senders i/p and ask them to have the mail stopped. It has been over a month and I still get this stuff daily. Now I am afraid to use C/L as a source to sell anything

Has this happened to any of you?

Honda cars (any model) are pretty popular. I think they are the most stolen around here. They can be parted out and easily sold off for what he paid for it, but if he registers the car he has to pay cali for all of the years back reg fees  strip it, part it , send the parts to the Ukraine and sell them there and you have made big bucks

If any of you are in to or find any industrial electrical  contactors
(motor starters) the contacts in them are platinum

Haven't you ever heard Hester brag about all the money he has?

Ok maybe that was before he lost that $750,000 spot on the show and his  store

122,692  is nothing to a guy with as much money as Dave Has. Its funny that they would settle attorney fees with so many parts of his suite pending

Some people have a really tough time getting rid of an old pair of shoes, getting rid of GRANDMA ,? not a chance

You say" It is what it is". But It shouldnt be.  After reading some of those complaints/no most of them, the policies of that company should be considered illegal on some level, and they seem to hold to the same policies nation wide. They all seem to insist that you buy their $17.00 lock and an insurance policy that they do not honor or the trouble people have had with their things being stolen.
Not having complaints replied to, even at the corporate level and no attempt to resolve them is another nation wide policy.
It seems like these people would have good cases to bring into court  for some resolution

At this point they need to do anything they  to can to keep the show on the air. They may still get ratings out of the other shows, but the original SW has imploded, new people wont help the ratings

You almost cant blame Berry for jumping off of a sinking ship.
It sure didn't take long for greed to implode this group.

Dave wasn't happy with $750,000 a season,  Dan wants a piece of every other auction show

Its funny that we havnt heard from Darrell or Jarod and Brandy demanding as much as the others.
It doesnt look like the demands they are making are paying off very well
at least Brandy got paid.
