That has to be the worst show I have ever watched well watched 15mins of it and turned the channel back and forth. The show is to be about buying units! Where and why would the make a show with Q and A's. You go to an auction you bid and hopefully win you load and unload and sell! Why make a one hour show on meet the people. VERY STUPID.

Actually, I think they did a good thing there, because any of the 'get rich quick' folks who watched it are going to realize (those with more than three functioning brain cells, anyway)that if you want to get rich quick, this is NOT the way to do it. 
   Yes, there are lockers out there that are worth some serious cash, but those are like finding hen's teeth. 
   This is a job for those of us who just like to dig through peoples stuff and see what is what.  It's gambling for people that suck at cards and dice.
   When Darryl made it clear that they buy thirty or more units a month, and the show only shows the big hits and misses, it should make it clear you better be willing to throw a lot of money and effort into this to make a buck.
   Barry was the only one who said he doesn't have an issue with the show and his schedule.  The rest all said they have to alter their schedules to film, because they all do this for a living, Barry doesn't.

Hey Drew, I'm going to see if you're interested in a few big items.  Got a fridge, works in decent condition, white.  Also have a like new gas range and built in microwave and the fridge, all black, that I bought as a set two years ago.  They've been sitting in my garage ever since. (Fridge has been used, but it is in good condition.  Range and Microwave have less than sixty days of usage.)

Beanie Babies are like sports cards.  If you don't know a collector that will buy them at a discount, you have to sit on the damn things and watch the market.  When your 'Babies' get worth something, then you have to be ready to stick it on the market.
   Most aren't worth much.  But some can be worth some jack, so I am willing to take the risk, and sit on them if needed, until they do go up in value.
   Last unit I bought I got about 5,000 sports cards from the eighties and early nineties.  It ain't gonna be a quick sell, because I can sit on them and sell them out bit by bit to get max value, seeing as I only paid $200 for the unit.
   Personally, I understand the 'quick turn' market, but when it comes to little items like Beanies and cards?  I'll sit on them if needed, as they don't take up much room.

Can I get some clarification?  You state that the auction was cancelled, but they were filming there.  Strange.  Are they simply buying all the units up, cancelling the public auction, so they can film with their cast and extras instead, and if so, is that even legal to do?
  If it's supposed to be a public storage unit auction, one would think they'd have to leave it open to the general public.

I guess you and I have different definitions of newb/noob then.  I sometimes get the feeling that anyone who isn't in the pre 2010 cliche is a noob/newb to them and is seen as poison, although that just my view.

You want to spend your time taking offense over piddly ass ****, that's your business.  If they ain't personally directing the comment at me, then it ain't at me.  I don't have time to get a chip on my shoulder.
   Biting cold weather?  You don't understand a lot of these people.  About the only way you can keep the real unit buyers away is to have the freaking roads closed, and some of them will still try to make it.
   You ain't the only cowboy that has heard that they now sell water in bottles.  Some of even have these fancy things called coolers!!  Work like a champ.  Winter?  We buy coats.  And since I grew up off the Great Lakes, I can take a damn good bit of cold.  I'm not going to think I'm the only one out there who can handle extremes in temperature.

See what the wife offers in 'trade'.  Maybe you two can work out a mutually beneficial arrangement.  She gets that chest, you get hers.

I might have let her have any family photo's/papers I found, but as for the rest?  Nah.  Especially not on a payment plan from someone who had already defaulted at least once.
   Of course, if she does come back with her 'help', if you take a check you may be asking for it.  Tell her if you don't see Benjamin's, you don't sell.
