Stories about Storage Auctions / Re: OMG why would someone store this?

I had this happen on a unit last month. The unit was a total bust so when i found this ornate antique bottle looking thing I was a little excited started pouring out the contents into the trash and was like oh powder with bone fragments OMG. I realized what it was and got as much back into the bottle as I could and put it in personals box. I was definitely a little creeped out but I got over it. i said a little prayer for whoever it was and went about my business.

Units from a smokers home with 90% of belongings broken and/or covered in 20 years of nicotine. Add 10 boxes of opened dry goods makes a great home for rats and the like. Should have called the trash guys and taken the loss.

Scored an awesome locker last week.
Found an auction last minute real close to my house. It was a smaller facility that had auctions listed for two locations at same time. I picked the one closer to home. Lucky me it was snowing that morning and only about 10 bidders for two lockers. First door goes up and it is a 10x10 80% full the auctioneer starts the bidding at $200. Everyone laughs so he calls for $100. One guy says a 100 and I go 125. sold. It was almost too easy so I was a little scared to get in there after the rest of the days auctions I attended.
This is  the unit that just keeps giving. The original owner must have been OCD because everything in the unit was spotless except some of the kitchen stuff. Nothing in here of exceptional value but easy items to sell.here is a small list of items.

Hi all, Im Nick. I've been doing auctions for about a month now and I am on my 3rd locker. I've been lurking in the forums for awhile now and I figured it was time to introduce myself. I have been self employed for almost 20 years so running a business is not new to me. I am not getting in to this business as a gamble and I refuse to pay retail!
