A Happy Thanksgiving to you too!  :08:

IMO, that woman he hired to run this website destroyed it by driving away 90% of those that posted here. She would delete post she deemed not valuable enough, so people got ticked off and stopped posting.

I never wanted to give up on Travis, I know he's had personal, medical issues and major surgery so I'm more than will to help, but I need the tools to do that and he's not giving them which frustrates me.

I've tried contacting Travis and don't get a response. My mod powers limit me to only deleting posts but not topics. So if a spammer starts a new topic all I can do is delete the subject line and contents which I have been doing, then I add "to be deleted", can't even ban the user. I've asked Travis to change this for me and no response to that request either. I stopped doing all of that because if he doesn't care then why should I keep trying.

New to Storage Auctions? / Re: Unit full of bikinis
« on: September 02, 2018, 09:16:45 AM »
I used to receive many requests for used panties with urine smell in them. I never obliged although I could have earned a lot of money as their offers were in $100-500 range.

So why not sell them? Who care what someone else's fetish is, this is business.

Call and ask the storage unit manager, no one here can speak for him.

They can enter the storage unit with the renter's permission, perhaps they had it. As for the collectible you keep them. You are also entitled to keep anything else in there, the return of personal materials, photo's, tax returns, etc. is voluntary since you have purchased and own the contents.

8
Do you mean where to sell the individual items or where to sell the entire unit as a whole package?

9
exactly how would I know if i'm looking into a climate controlled unit?

For starters they're cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Often they'll have insulated walls instead of sheetrock with one coat of taping compound on them.

I am 100% in agreement with you. This is a good part of the reason Trump was elected...we're sick of this stuff.

:67: I think there's way too much emphasis being placed on which website is the best at selling other peoples old used junk.

These prices are out of control.

That's nothing new. Online auctions are always higher because the pictures make things look better than when seeing with your own eyes. IMO, let them bid them up and lose money, eventually they will go broke and not be around to bid anymore.

In the real world, if you come across a lot of business files or records, follow this procedure. Drive your car behind a strip center. Lift dumpster lid. Look for anything good.  Place records in the dumpster and get out while the gettin's good.

Using a dumpster without permission is a felony in most, if not all states.

Some towns or organizations like boys and girl scouts will occasionally have a shredder day. Keep an eye out for one of those and bring the papers down there in trash bags for them to shred and recycle for you.
