Title: Why is there no oversight when it comes to storage liens?

Why do you think there is no oversight when it comes to storage liens? Sure, our states have laws, but no one is enforcing them. There is no supervision. Disputes arising from lien law violations are ultimately settled in civil court.

Because you would need money to sue.   If you had money you wouldn't have lost your unit.

Trying to find enough legitimate claimants from one major facility for a class action or for the DA/commissioners office to look into it,  would be brutal time-wise (no money)

Until enough people complain the government doesn't care.  The people that have a legitimate claim can't afford to have a voice.

Besides, that's what we need....more government oversight.

I agree with you there.
