Here's the link to Spike's promo for the new season featuring a one-hour LIVE show of vaults sold to "invitation only" buyers; I doubt any of us were invited.

Show starts (and continues) on a new night...WEDNESDAYS; guessing this is a gambit to get some audience back from Storage Wars who moved to Tuesdays against AH. So, we're back to being able to watch both shows if we want to. ;)

I always forget about Auction Hunters....perhaps it's because it's not crammed down our throats 2-3 nights a week like SW......or perhaps it's because I rarely watch Spike.
Veering slightly off-topic here, I heard a rumor (flea-market style) that one of the shows is planning to come to Tucson for an episode. Yikes~that's all we need~ ::)
If anybody hears anything to verify that please let me know so I can schedule a timely vacation. ;)

But Rockin - if you can go to the same place where they are filming the show you know you'll make money. Think about all those coins, guns, and $30 trash bags they find in those units.
This thread reminds me I need to go watch SW. Have not seen this season and don't even remember the last time I watched AH.

Out of all the shows I like this one the best cause you know what to expect

Haven't watched these two guys for months but tuned in tonight (May 23, 2012) when they were in Alaska.
Didn't take long for them to get a lkr with an 8-WHEEL ATV. Oh yeah, I know a guy got one of those just last week in a $1 lkr.
Gimme a frigging break !

You mean they didn't find the original bolldozer that paved the Alaska Highway, a fully intacted 18th. Century whaling ship, ancient Native American scrim-shaw made from walrus tusks, and the original claims to the best producing gold mines? Must have been a bad day.
Everyone knows if you spend $8000 to travel to Alaska, drop another $2000 on units you JUST HAVE to double your money! I just hope all the newbies in my area start catching planes and flying to exotic places to do storage auctions. :D

Take a look at post #83 in the "auction hunters is FAKE" thread. A good tracking on a "setup" in the Auction Hunters show.
