Title: Framed pictue unit
Post by: Millertime on October 11, 2011, 04:56:24 PM
Got a nice little unit yesterday for 65.00 that had 27 framed pictures, 2 oil on canvas paintings, a bunch of glassware, luggage set, patio chairs and misc. smalls. Took 2 trips in van, 6 total miles, zero clothes, zero trash and didn't even have to sweep. Feeling better than last week.  :)

$65.00?  You got a winner there. I know where I would try to sell that many pictures.  I would find a hotel/ days inn/ motel 6 or any other place being constructed nearby and sell to them.  Find the manager of the soon to be hotel/ motel and tell them you got some really nice pictures for the rooms.

Sell them in one huge lot.

Thanks. Been a busy week with a lot of OT at the regular job, haven't had time to do anything with this unit yet. Did some research Sunday and got a few nice finds here. One is a framed/matted Norman Rockwell litho print that is flawless. I found an identicle one with a messed up matt that sold for 35.00 online. Some of the other prints are by well known artists that sold online for 5.00 - 15.00 as well as a print of a watercolor that is signed by the artist that sold online for 20.00 with no frame. The luggage is a 4 piece vintage Trojan hardcase set from the 60's and is in excellant condition with the key to lock them. So it's time to get busy and make some $.

onealx4.......... thanks for the great idea, I'm going to look into that!
