I had to work so I sent the wife to two auctions. First one ended up being 2 units but we had called earlier and it was 8. I doubt that 6 people paid between 8am and 10am but oh well.
Second one is where she got lucky. Nothing to flashy has a nice 32 inch TV in it, (Flat screen but not a lcd screen) a set of golf clubs, filing cabinent, walker, 7 foot christmas tree, coffee table with no glass. and a china buffet thing,
She paid $70 for the locker and while nothing in there is a grand slam I think we can make all of our money back and a little profit.(http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/2729/columbus20111020009721.th.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/64/columbus20111020009721.jpg/)

Nice pic, hope you make profit. I whiffed on a locker with 20+ filing cabinets last week. Went for $60 bucks, they sell like hot cakes on craigs.

Let's turn that picture right side up and make it a little bigger !

Not bad, your wife did well, she just made you a good profit. Especially if the glass top for the table is in there. Golf Clubs alone should get you from anywhere from half your money back to a slight profit, depending on if people in your area are buying golf clubs. Bag looks shocked though. Cheers

That is a decent locker for a nice price. I agree with jrossjr that the clubs should fetch 1/2 your price paid or may even turn a profit. It all depends on if a complete set, # of golfers in your area, etc. The china cabinet is a iffy. They don't sell well in my area. Many of the regulars complain about it also since we have seen at least 1 in every 10 or so lockers for some reason this month. The walker can sell. Xmas tree's are iffy for me also. Good luck to you.

Filing Cabinets ? when I won the locker full of them ( I wasn't bidding on it , it ended up being a package deal of 3 X 30 ft. lockers for $ 185 ) I couldn't give them away .
The Fri. I posted them on Craig's , a nationwide mortgage company in the area closed there doors , and offered all there furniture, 4 floors full for FREE ( No Computers ) and would assist You in loading it just show up Sat. between 9 to 4 . >:(
What friends didn't want , I ended up scrapping ( My locker was located next to a scrap yard LOL )

A 4 drawer cabinet can turn into $30 bucks pretty quickly here. But I am also in a military town, so items that people in other parts of the country will throw/give away (mattresses/box springs/old tvs) is a pretty fast profit here.

Those TVs weigh a freakin ton. My parents had one just like that but it finally kicked the bucket a few months ago. They called me to help move it and i said "Get real" and offered to pay for moving guys to come haul it to the corner for the garbage.

It doesn't always work, but I had bought a large 38inch tv like that one...I sat it on an old blanket and dragged it around..lol...but having to pick it up was a real pain.

Sold the last TV that size and two others and a broken washer right out of the locker. ;D
Did not want to try and move it. Plus the store was full of them.
Looks like a good score. should do fine.
