Really, who steals vitamins? I guess the senior citizen underground crime network was finally pinched.  ;)

people "assume" things are stolen quite often it seems. I always assume people have a vitamin fetish, or thousands of bills hidden in trashbags fetish.

Sounds like a possible insurance scam to me. The buyers contacted the company and offered to sell them back and the company said no. But the FBI was "concerned" that the product could be outdated and not fit for public consumption. Now why wasn't the company concerned about that?

If they aren't outdated, or too far past date, sell in bulk to a flea market vendor.
I see this stuff all the time at the flea markets in the dollar bins.
