Title: Has anyone used Yext business listings to advertise your store or website?
Post by: Travis on March 15, 2014, 08:40:50 AM
Has anyone used Yext business listings to advertise your store or website? It looks like an easy way to get listed on the top 50 or so local business directories. It's got it's pros and cons. It definitely saves you time and it beats the heck out of manually submitting your store to dozens of local business directories. It's a little pricey, but you can always cancel after a month or so and your listings will remain in the directories, well, at least your name, address, phone number & URL will. Also, if you already have some business directory listings with errors, you'll be able to update and sync your business data with Yext.

How popular is this Yext (never heard of it) as compared to other business directories?

Well, it's not actually a business directory. It's a service that gets you listed with the top business directories. You could easily spend 2-3 days submitting your business to local directories. With Yext, you submit the information to them once, and then a few days later, your business is listed in 30-40 top directories.
