New Boards
« on: May 21, 2014, 03:08:33 PM »
I just added a new board for estate sales under The Market Place.

I'm planning on adding some new boards and I was wondering what other types of auctions you guys are interested in.

I was thinking government & liquidation auctions. Any other suggestions?

Travis I know i dont post here a whole lot but my 2 cents is you have way to many boards now

when i come to the site I click the unread posts since last visit and go through them, if i read something and have to go find it again its a more difficult that it should be because of all the places i need to look

I appreciate the input. I'll spend some time condensing some of the boards. We will be making a few other changes in the layout as well over the next few days.

Okay, I condensed several boards.

Storage Auction Books, Advertise With Us, For Sale, Wanted to Buy, Storage Auction Plugs and Non Related Plugs were removed. If you had posts in any of these sections, they have been moved into General Auction Talk or The Lounge.

We also removed the blue background and added a snazzy new footer menu.

FYI, I condensed the "Your Neck of the Woods" boards into one category under resources. These boards don't get a lot of activity and they were taking up a lot of space.  :34:

In the market place section, you can probably turn "Ebay, Craigslist, garage Sales, flea Markets. etc" into sub-forums.

That's a good idea. I'm trying to improve page load times as much as I can.

In SMF you can run on diagnotics and see the page load times on each page on the bottom..

Their are different levels of detail, so you can see where the bottle neck is..

Take a look at my site phphelp.com you'll see the page load times on the bottom.

If mine are faster then what you have, then you have an issue, because I have way more topics.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Hopefully the boards I condensed today will have a positive effect.
