I guess you buy palets of anywhere from 50 to a few hundred packages that have been lost, damaged, labels fell off while shipping, etc.

A guy at the auctions today was talking about them. I found some info online on how to get registered with gov to recieve the lists.

I'm going to check one out and see if they are any good if there's any comming up anytime soon in my area.

They are apparently only in Atlanta now...that's not THAT far from Chicago....closer than California anyway.

Been there and done that.

If you have really deep pockets go ahead.

Most pallets sells for over 2000 dollars. I think average price is about 4000 dollars.

When i was there last time, there was not one pallet that went for under 2000 dollars.

I saw someone selling knock-off Disney vinyl blow up toys at a garage sale once. Apparently he bought a whole pallet of them at a postal auction but didn't know what was in the boxes! Thousands of them and nobody wanted them.

Yeah or like a guy i know who spent 4900 dollars on a pallet from Mexico. When he got home and opend it, all that was in there was plastic shopping bags. The problem was that the bags had logo's on them for a store that had gone out of business 4 months earlier.
