Never judge a book by it's cover
« on: May 11, 2013, 05:32:50 PM »
This little old widow (probably in her late 80's) moved in next door to us last week and and my wife an I were commenting how nice it is to have another quiet neighbor living next to us. A little while ago, the little old lady came over and asked my wife to take her to the convenience store because she was still waiting for her car to arrive from where she moved from.

My wife and I figured she needed some groceries and were glad to help.

When my wife got home, she told me what the little old lady bought.

2  24 packs of Budweiser, a box of wine and 2 cartons of Kool.   :o

Not that I'm judging her or anything, I just didn't see that coming.

I wouldn't get too attached to her. It sounds like she won't be around very long. :)

so,did she ask for another ride this morning, you know to replenish her purchases from yesterday?... I was hoping that she was my long lost granny, but mine smoked Marlboro's , only drank cases of Miller Light and Jack Daniels ,no wine.

The lady said she'll pay my wife $20 every trip. The store is only a mile a way so it's definitely convenient. Normally, I wouldn't let my wife take money from someone like that but considering the circumstances, why not.

I guess she has decided to splurge a little after living a healthy lifestyle to get her into the late 80's.  :D

I've seen these types before, I got 20 bucks that says she will be getting your wife to take her to her drug dealer, "boyfriends" house, or illegal poker games within the month! :o
