The dreaded tax deadline is here. What do I dread about it? It's not so much about the money but more the days I waste getting all of the paperwork in order. I usually don't put it off until last minute but this year I've been too busy to get to it.
I feel for all of you who own stores. That would drive me crazy trying to keep track of everything I bought and sold.

We don't own a store (yet) but we do keep track of everything we buy and sell. It's not too bad as long as you keep on top of it. If you have to go back and "remember" what you sold, you might as well just make it up.

One word: Quicken
Use Quicken and make your entries throughout the year as needed. Then come tax day you simply import the Quicken file into your tax prep software and the business part is done.
