Jose....

You're not unemployed...you're a full-time auction buyer !

That will help you out while you look for other work, or it may just become your new career.

May all your lkr purchases be good ones!

Jose, sorry to hear that, that really sucks. Like someone else said, this may wind up being a good thing, now your a fulltime auction hunter at least for the time being. Get out there and really give auctions and resale 100% see if you can make it a full time gig while your out there looking for another job. Best of luck.

Thanks! I do see it as a way to go full time into storage auction buying. I plan on going to 1 tomorrow silent bid so I'll see how it goes. Will report back

I don't want to seem like a pessimist, but perhaps you should be looking for another job and attending auctions. If the conditions were the same as before the storage auction shows premiered, I would definitely recommend going at it full time, but they're not. It's tough out there right now and most professionals that I know have only bought a handful of lockers in the past 6 months. And you just can't live on a couple of lockers a month.

Also, no disrespect, but I remember a post a few weeks ago where you were considering spending your rent money at an auction. If that is you're current financial status, all it takes is buying a couple of bad units and then you're out of business. At least with having a job, you have an income source to hedge your risk.

Personally, if I were in your situation, I would be putting out resumes.

I'm looking for someone part time to make phone calls to storage facilities. Just teasing.

I will take that job, I would call anywhere and everywhere, at least $10 p/hr no less than $120 per day :)

I could definitely use you, but it only requires like ten hours every other week. Once the Dallas/Fort Worth list is complete, it will require ten hours every week.

Jose....

Coming up on 2 months since you posted info on sports cards you had for sale, and the silent auction you had been too.

How goes the job search and/or buying of lkrs ?
