One of the "secrets" to the storage auction business is to generate income through your own clothing apparel line. This endeavor can be clothing designs you have created yourself, or having a proefessional designer create your brand and line and you just put your name behind it.
Many successful storage auction business people have their own apparel line, including Dave Hester, Jarrod Schultz, & Mike Baiotta.
The question arises, when is the best time to start your own clothing apparel line? Should you start it at the same time as you start going to auctions? Wait until you become an established buyer or local whale? When you have opened your own brick and mortar thrift shop? Or wait until you are featured in a reality TV show?
There is no right answer and everyone must decide for themselves when the right time to start their own storage auction related clothing line.

I would think the best time would be after you graduated with a degree in fashion design. But what do I know? ::)
I always wanted to start my own T-Shirt line with an imprint that says "Who Wants to Marry a Hundredaire?"

I think you've just given Travis an idea. T-Shirts, Coffee Mugs, Man-bags, keychains....if it can get an imprint it's doable. Even that blonde from Storage War Texas tried it.....remember "Bring it !"

No, I think I'm good with a storage auction listing service, a forum and a book. :) My next project is giving Storage Battles a run for their money.

i think storage auction buyers hsould focus on buying storage auctions and not try to be fashion designers. i could cares less about tshirts made by dave hester or anyone from storage wars let alone someone even less known such as someone from my local auctions or even this forum.
if you have your own brick and mortar shop and want to get hoodies and maybe some carhartt jackets made up with your name or logo for some free advertising maybe not a bad idea but i dont see people flocking to buy storage auction gear from anyone
