Hidden cash

This weekend we got a huge unit full of mostly big, old, dusty furniture. We got it for only $280; I think probably because it's a ton of work and the other bidders knew it. Anyway, while we were cleaning the unit out, I found an old old ladies glove. I could tell it was full of something so I decided to investigate. Inside there was a cloth change purse. The clasp was rusted shut but I finally pried it open with a screwdriver. Inside of that - rolls of money - $205 in all. I've already made $55 off of 3 small pieces of furniture. This locker is going to be great! A ton of work, but great.

If you aren't afraid of hard work or getting dirty, you can definitely score some good units on the cheap. Some of my best units were so dusty that I came out looking like a chimney sweep.

Wow! I guess you really need to dig deep to uncover hidden treasures. Just imagine what a pity if the glove had been stored inside a furniture piece instead and you had sold it unknowingly. It takes patience to go through every successful storage auction bid before you can truly reap some profits.
