Title: Looks can be deceiving
Post by: hyp0luxa on September 25, 2012, 01:28:25 PM
We bought a locker yesterday at an opening bid of $25.00. No one else bid on it, as it was mostly cheap flea market stuff, pots and pans, junk furniture, etc. After hitting some more auctions I went back to rummage and found $1,200.00 cold cash at the bottom of a checkbook refill box. Some more digging turned up about 30 boxes of unopened Diabetes test strips which sell for over $30 a box on eBay, and about $100 worth of scrap gold and silver. With that and all of the swap shop merchandise, we're looking at clearing about $2600.00 off of this $30 junker. This is why I do this.

Yep, looks can be deceiving, but I can ALMOST guarantee you that if you bought 49 more of those at the same price you would be verifying my 1 in 50 theory.  But, congrats anyway!
