ok hello, my first topic lol
anyway, i have to say the best things i have found and i have been doing storage since idk, 2010-2009
was a sword and an actual sword, a daito blade. problem was, i was not trusted enough, and well we needed to make money on the unit (how annoying is that, the one thing you want and it gets taken to be sold ._., i mean cmon a kid has to have a blade like that eventually) so it was sold....***n it ._.
well, it wasnt too bad, couple auctions later i found a mcu 2/p g.mask, meh, wasnt bad, didnt come with a filter though....IT WASNT SOLD TO AUCTION :DDDD
i found a guitar, in good condition but needs some tuning and fixing, best thing by far that i ever found
cant think of anything else..
im still pissed about the daito blade being taken away to this day >:(

Don't worry, if you stay in this business long enough, you'll find another one.

im just curious as to how many units youve bought in 4 years if thats the best stuff you found? I'm not knocking you by any means, those are nice finds. Was just thinking you may be buying 1 or 2 a month as a side business.

bakerben, Sometimes it depends on the market/metro area a person is doing auctions in. I have seen HUGE differences in the quality of goods in a storage unit going from one region to another.

I agree. I personally don't like going to auctions in college towns. I've found that the quality of merchandise is typically low.

And I like the units close to colleges around here. Dorms and studios don't have room for mountain bikes, snowboards, band/dj equipment....
Lotta kids list school addy for bill then comes summer, moves home for three months.......or they toss it in for summer so they don't have to haul it home and forget about it.
