Title: Old Chicago Faucet Company Faucet Never Used W/ Origional Tag
Post by: rulesforrebels on March 14, 2011, 09:01:53 PM
Just came across this the other day. It's an old Chicago Faucet Company bathroom faucet. Still has the origional tag attached to it.

Really cool faucet, thinking I'm probably going to put it in my house rather than sell it but just curious what it's worth and the history behind it?

Through doing a little research I've found people are paying a fortune for newer remakes of ones like this.

Pics below...

Reb, your links aren't working. When you're at photobucket, under the Share this photo, copy and paste the IMG code box and it should display the pics in your post. Like....

Sorry about that, I didn't realize I used up all my photobucket bandwith for the month.

I'll open a new accoutn when I get home and repost pics as I don't feel like paying for phtoobucket pro.

THanks for the tip on how to post pics as well, wasn't sure how to embed them in the thread

Now thats a nice piece.

Should be easy to sell and bring good money.

To the right person who wants to remodel a older home, this would be perfect.
I would set a value on this one around 250 dollars. ( not to public, but to the right customer)
Regular retail price i would put it for sale between 175 and 225 dollars.

I had a few of those in some of my older rental apt's, and when we renovated them we sold the old ones for 75-100 bucks, depending on the condition.

Yeah thanks, I thought it was pretty cool. Can't decide whether to sell it or put it in my house. I think it'd look really cool with some subway tiles and maybe one of those white porcelain sink bowls that attaches directly to the wall.
