Title: Point of sale systems / credit card terminals

I found a pretty nice wireless credit card terminal in a unit. My question isn't about the value but whether they can be resold and used with a different processing company. Anyone know about this?

If there is a name or phone number on the terminal I would call and ask them. They might own the equipment or at least the rights to it's use.
