Thanks for the idea Mr. A.  I wasn't thinking about asking Beckett on this one, since it is not guaranteed to be for a sports card, but they do give values on more than just cards.  I will give that a shot sometime this week.

Movieman, I wish it could be worth thousands, but I will be happy if it is at least worth the cards I traded for it. 

I guess if I don't get an idea that it is worth anything, I will use some stamp ink or erasble marker on it and try to make a print.  At least that way I can see if it is a highschool player or an adult, lol.  It kinda looks like a highschool player or a college player.

I agree completely.  That is what I kept telling their Customer No-Service department.

I told their rep that it was total bs that someone can bash a seller and we have no recourse like it used to be.  He said they did away with sellers being able to leave negative or neutral feedback because buyers were feeling intimidated.  I let him know that sellers having no recourse is a major reason why they are loosing most of their sellers.

They need to find a ballance to the system.  Maybe allow sellers and buyers to only leave so many negative feedbacks in a row, or in a month.  If you hit your limit, all you have left is neutral or positive you can leave.  But I guess that would take someone thinking, and that is not what they get paid to do!

I got lucky on an Fee Bay scammer.

I listed a broken 10 meter amatuer radio.  It was listed as broken, for repair.  Guy won it, bid it up to $150.  Got it and opened a claim stating that is was not as advertised, he said it was broken.

I fought it, and Fee Bay found on my side, I got to keep the money.  He cussed me and left negative feedback.  Fee Bay said they could not retract the negative.  I told them I was going to close my 10 year acount.  Well, I didn't, and researched his transactions and saw he was habitual for leaving bad feedback.  They deleted his acocunt for a few months and restored my 100% feedback.

Oh, and by the way, he got so ticked that he crammed the radio in a box and shipped it back to me.  So I got $150 plus the broken radio back.

I ended up having to work the morning of the auction.  I had to go out to a farm and dump a load of bad milk.

I haven't had the time to do it, but I had a friend who took a trailer to the Dallas area and went around loading it up with all of the free stuff he could.  Made decent money doing it.

I always check the free section of Clist for the area I am in.  I have picked up some free stuff, including a trailer house, but I haven't picked up any free stuff to resell.  There really isn't enough quality stuff, or even quantity of stuff, to go out to pick up.

Hey texgal, since Rockwall is barely down the road, and if you are out this way on Sat the 16th, I heard that Texas Storage in Sulphur Springs is having an auction.  I don't know any specifics yet.  I'm going to try and take the day off to attend it.

Up this way scrap metal prices depends on how the wind blows.  Paris was giving $11/100lbs plus a .50/100lb incentive if you live out of their county.  Sulphur Springs was giving $9/100lbs a week ago.

I have some stuff to put in a yard sale, and a disabled buddy of mine has basically an on-going garage sale at his place.  He is going to let me put a couple of tables out there and sell the stuff for me.  I just have to get the items to his place.

I have a suggestion for you if you do decide to buy his book.  Place an ad in the Wanted section of this forum and buy it from someone who has already read it and does not need it anymore.  It will take care of your curiosity and will help someone unload the book they no longer want/need.

I have a question that goes along with his:

Will Clist listen to you if you do have an original owner, who knows that they owned the stuff, and the person keeps flagging your postings for removal.  I have had mine flagged before for various reasons, such as someone getting mad because I would not take thier low-ball offer on an item. 


One way someone would think that you have their stuff is because if you have like 10 or 20 items listed in the area where you won the auction, and the items matched theirs exactly.


Anyways, I agree with ya'll.  If you won an auction, all of the items are yours.  You won the items legally and paid for them.

I have completed the inventory and pictures of the Nascar stuff.  I have started putting all of the pics in my photobucket.

I am about to transfer my inventory list from hand written to Excell in the computer.
