Well i never saw your response, so i will comment again.

Travis! i'm surprised you haven't guessed the site yet! i figured a man like you would be in the know of all the online storage auction websites ;)

Hint: it has "bid" in the name.

oh they care. They get money for their units , so they get units, thus they get customers. same reason ebay can charge an arm and a leg.

Well this isn't entirely true.  They used to be the smaller player until they bought out the bigger player , who's name is escaping me at this very moment. SealedOnlineBids

Well, if units are selling that cheap, it's just a matter of time before their clients go elsewhere.

Your point being....?

As a bidder i don't care about this, nor do i see why other bidders should care.  Perhaps because you run a storage auction website you think this is important?  But i sort of doubt that you are correct as well.  Any serious storage operator is already at a loss on a unit, whether they get $50 or $200 they don't really care, all they really care about is getting the unit emptied out quickly, and ready for renting again.

No you did not. What he meant was the way you wrote your posted sounded like you were leading up to promoting a website. But since you didn't mention one, or post a link to one then it wasn't really spam, so all is good.

Oh i get it now! duh!  Yeah, not planning on posting that link, its too much of a goldmine right now. you'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Hey Yuuuupers,

I've been buying auctions for a little while now.  Mostly was breaking even and not getting much out of my auctions for the amount of work i was putting in, and the costs of disposal of unwanted items.  But this weekend i finally hit it big.  I picked up a unit off a new online auction site i found, there doesn't seem to be very many bidders there yet, so i got it for only $26!  It was a 10x10 packed full to the brim.  Found two gold chains in a dresser drawer that i flipped for $250 and $175.  Still selling off the rest of the stuff, but it feels really good to finally hit the big one.

Has anyone else found anything cool lately?
