Garage sale today
« on: September 03, 2011, 02:19:19 PM »
Selling alot of my items for a dollar or less. Some $5 items. Then a few higher items. The morning rocked, but now it is down to a slow crawl. Made $85. But remember most of the items are for a dollar or less. So I am pleased with what I made. Im just trying to get rid of this inventory so I can completely refresh it. Here in about 2 hours I will be packing all of it up except for a handful of items(saving for a different day) and I am donating it to a thrift store to get my tax write off.

Sometimes thats all you can do to clear space so you can buy more units.

yup yup yup, So now my inventory is empty except for those decorative chinese block prints that I am going to sale during the Asian Festival, A Christmas Town that I can sell closer to Xmas, and 5 clowns that are collectibles. 4 of them are from 1981 and one is from 1979. But everything else left from the yard sale I donated and got a 385 dollar tax write off. Which is better than I thought I would have gotten on a tax write off. :)

Could you post a pic of the asian prints?  I'd love to see them.

ya sure, I think I still have them on Photobucket, will have to look, if so I will have them up soon, if not, will have to wait till I take more.

Bad news is I dont have them on photobucket, and I dont have a copy of the photos no more. However I do still have a posting on CL that shows all 4 of them:

Thats smart. You can usually get more for the tax deduction than what you would sell it for.
