i live in austin and went to a saturday auction and there was a large croud of maybe 60-75 but to my suprize everyone was resonable about bidding and no one was going off the gamble like ive been seeing. out of 15 units all fairly good not one went over 225$ bucks it was like god sent a message to people to not be stupid and blow money out the ass cus they think theyre gonna find a secret stash of gold.

Same thing a few weeks ago.  Saturday auction, I almost didn't go because Saturdays can be a real pain with all the weekenders.

I ended up with 3 units, total was 600 and some change.

nope i didnt get anything bid on 3 units the first looked like a junk unit but with my flashlight i was able to spot an antique trunk under clothes and several newer gaming systems. i put my max at 100 bucks it was at 50 i put in my 75 bid and the guy that was in back of me without a flashlight saw what i saw and put in the bid at 100 and so i was out.
the second unit was a antique furniture unit (what i thought) but the auctioneer opened the drawer and after examing the bottom of the drawers u could see that it was newer than what i thought so i let it go.
the third unit had a college girls stuff there was a visable supposed ed hardy back pack but when calculating how much i would pay i didnt include this because it could be fake and set my max at 100 and it went for 225 :p
