Baldwin Keyed Locksets Without Keys

Baldwin Keyed Locksets Without Keys

So in my last locker I found 2 boxes of brand new Baldwin door knobs and hinges. Both inside knobs without locks, and locksets as well as a deadbolt or 2. I sold both interior "egg knob" sets for $40 each and rather quickly too. My dilemma is that anything that requires a key is missing a key! I can bring them to a locksmith and have them rekey at a cost of $15-$22 ea. I'm guessing it's going to be $22 because that's just my luck!

There's about 10 sets that need keys. I'm wondering if they'll sell without me rekeying, and just have the buyer rekey at their own locksmith? Or should I just go ahead and rekey?

Have a key made for one, then test the key on the others.  Might be all keyed alike.  I've had it work for candy machines anyway...

I'll give it a shot. It's a longshot, but since they all came from the same person, they could have had each keyed to match 1 key. I think candy machines do that because of efficiency for the employees. Some of those guys refill like 100 machines a day, if not more!
